Idexx laboratories sells instruments for vets, either for biochemistry or hematology or other. The main task of the day is to take calls from customers who aren't satisfied and troubleshoot the issue the best way possible to guarantee the customer's satisfaction. The manager, being aware it is a repetitive job, always tried to challenge us and create new tasks for us. The team is multicultural and I loved it. There were several languages spoken in the same floor, people talking about their countries. The hardest part is when a customer is unhappy and he yells at you aggressively. My supervisor was always there either to encourage me and thank me for my efforts after to the call or to take the call if the customer insists on talking to a supervisor, which didn't really happen a lot of times. The greatest part, is the Fridays afternoons, where the work is slow and there aren't that much phone calls, so we gather as a team and talk about a lot of different subjects. I just loved working there.
