Stop using managers that have no idea how to manage people and/or are not interested to learn. The level of middle management is catastrophic and it's a well known issue within the company.
Don't hire smart people if you are not ready to sustain them.
From what I know, first the candidate will be invited and if there any match he or she will be invited for a second time. It is up to management to decide which one is the most suitable for any particular position
Well if Idexx does not find any internally to fullfill the vacancy they hire someone from outside via our Idexxers if they know any or thru the recruitment agencies.
