The company has a lot of potential.
I think what hurts it the most is the problem with management not being there. They were often away at some meeting in some country, and we would appoint a team leader for the day which did not work efficiently due to peoples nature of being power hungry also when management was not around employees got into groups and were often rude to other employees.
They claim that they have a bottom up approach to their company. In theory this means that the workers at the bottom have the capacity to make important decisions. Unfortunately this is only when dealing with customers and sometimes managers complain over the decision you made.
You attend meetings often and people bring up important issues but management does not do much about it. They are understaffed (to save money and maximise profit) and everyday was a grind. Employees complained but the response we got was "Well we know X month is busy, so just hold out and then things will slow down". But this is not the case since the company is growing.
I would not work for them again.
Good pay, some benefits, the hotels are beautifully decorated, team building outings
poor management, some employees are difficult to work with, night shifts, mandatory to pay for your lunch which was subpar in quality
